Welcome to the 74th Season of SLO REP! This may end up being the most challenging season in our 73 year history, but the good news is that we are committed to having a season! (We’re just not sure yet when it will begin…)
At present, we remain closed due to the pandemic but we hope to open our doors to the public OR plan a performance at an outdoor venue soon. We are working very hard to establish new ticketing and patron hospitality protocols to comply with all state and federal recommendations for safety and social distancing so that we can welcome you all back to SLO REP performances as soon as it is safe to do so.
We have had several meetings with City staff about a nearby outdoor venue and, with a few adjustments and official approvals, we should be able to make it work. That’s the GOOD news. The BAD news is that the County is not currently allowing ANY sort of outdoor performances until we are taken off the governor’s watch list. BUT as soon as that happens, we hope to be ready to go. Think good thoughts!
We are considering several plays featuring small casts of 1-4 actors for production outdoors at first, then moving indoors with limited seating as soon as we are approved for indoor gatherings.
Please watch this page for more information as our plans evolve. We look forward to seeing you soon!
