We offer high quality, year-round theatre education for the students of CA’s Central Coast. Most of our classes take place after school twice per week in six-week sessions located at our Education and Admin Headquarters at 3533 Empleo Street. With classes for ages 3-18, ranging from beginners to advanced training, there’s a class designed to engage students at every experience level. Whether your child is looking for a fun way to express themselves or looking to take their theatrical training to the next level, ACT has classes for everyone!

Teen Company: Musical Theatre Concert Edition
June 30-September 14

Cost of 12 week class: $725*
Attention, teens! Are you looking to grow your theatre skills in between performances? Are you eager to explore specialized theatre topics? Want to spend time with your theatre friends weekly? Teens in this class will receive mentorship from local theatre professionals in the form of in-class workshops in topics like:
Movement for the actor
Script analysis
Dialect work
Stage combat
MT Ensemble (voice and dance)
Personalizing a character
Auditions and callbacks
In addition to guest-artist workshops, this session’s students will select and rehearse a concert-style version of a popular musical to be presented to family and friends at the end of the class session.

Teen Company Important Class Dates:
- Teen Company is a 12-week session. Classes will take place from 5pm to 7pm on the following days:
- June 30-August 4: Tuesdays ONLY.
- August 10-September 14: Mondays AND Tuesdays.
- Final performance will take place on Monday, September 14th.
