Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new staff member!  Lacey McNamara will be a very familiar face to many of you. She played Marian the Librarian in last season’s sold-out production of The Music Man and has served as Musical Director for dozens of shows here and elsewhere on the Central Coast including A Chorus Line, Singin’ in the Rain, Pirates of Penzance and The Sound of Music. Now she’s taking on a new role here at the theatre and we couldn’t be happier! Lacey replaces Lauren Moore as Volunteer Director and Front of House Manager, overseeing all hospitality and volunteer activities related to making your experience at the Little Theatre absolutely delightful. Please see below for a message from Lacey, and the next time you’re here at the theatre be sure to join us in welcoming her to our staff family!

“My name is Lacey McNamara and I bring with me over 20 years experience in performing arts and 15 years experience in office management. My diversified involvement in this field has included acting, music directing, stage managing, and volunteering for theatre companies from Paso Robles to Santa Maria. I appeared in my first Little Theatre show in 2007 and have been regularly involved with Little Theatre productions as a music director since 2013. I also own and manage my own music business, teaching private piano lessons, facilitating group classes for all ages, and accompanying choirs and voice classes in Atascadero, Los Osos, and SLO.

The Little Theatre is well known for its quality productions and has built a solid reputation in the local arts community. I consider myself fortunate to have been given the opportunity to join this fine team and my commitment to our audiences is to develop and maintain a strong group of volunteers to keep the Theatre running smoothly. I truly embrace the full meaning of “community theatre” in the sense that our Theatre is kept alive by our community members, but we also become a community of volunteers and actors dedicated to bringing a unique arts experience to the Central Coast.

It is with great enthusiasm that I look forward to delivering the best theatre experience possible for our patrons and volunteers. My hope is for all who walk through our Theatre doors to feel like they have come home. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at [email protected] if you would like to join our team of volunteers or just to say hello. I am eager to work with you and the opportunity to chat with you would be welcomed!”

Welcome Lacey! We’re looking forward to many successful shows and seasons with your lovely smile greeting our patrons and volunteers at the theatre door!
