Dark Weekend, Gold Costumes, 14/15 Season. All Signs Point to Great Theatre on the Central Coast!

The gold costumes have arrived! Thanks to Keith Wetzel at Costume Capers, we have our finale costumes for A CHORUS LINE!  Just look at those hats! This weekend we’ll be in tech rehearsals and we open our blockbuster season finale show on Friday, May 16th.

Take a look at that cast – they’re ready! And as you can see, director/choreographer Zach Johnson and musical director Lacey McNamara are almost ready to let them fly on their own. Seriously, if you have not gotten your tickets yet, please hurry. Seats are truly going fast. Would I lie to you? CLICK HERE to make your reservations today!
Hey!  Thanks to the City of San Luis Obispo, we have new signs downtown telling visitors where to go for all the fun stuff in town — like the Little Theatre! Okay, so we’re a little jumbled with the “er” vs. “re” spelling, but I think people will still get the main idea. Thanks for including us on the new “wayfinding” signs, City of SLO!
If you haven’t checked out the 2014-2015 Season yet… what are you waiting for?! Okay, so tickets are NOT available quite yet. But they will be soon. Our beautiful new season brochure will be landing in your mailbox right around May 30th (fingers crossed!) It’s going to be a fabulous season and you don’t want to miss a minute of it, so mark your calendars and we’ll be ready to take your ticket orders by the end of the month. CLICK HERE for all the details on our amazing 68th Season.
The Little Theatre is dark this weekend, as we prepare for A Chorus Line next weekend. But that doesn’t mean you need to miss your theatre fix! Here’s just a partial list of great theatre YOU can enjoy this Mother’s Day weekend:
Around the World in 80 Days, directed by our very own Kevin Harris, is playing at the Great American Melodrama in Oceano through June 15th.
The Cover of Life is playing at the Pewter Plough Playhouse in Cambria (just 2 more weekends!)
Noises Off is absolutely hilarious and playing for just one more weekend at PCPA.
And finally, playing for one weekend only, the city wide collaborative production of Show Boat plays Saturday and Sunday only at the PAC! Can’t help lovin’ dat show…
We live in an amazing place, don’t we? So, what are you waiting for? Make your reservations now for one or maybe even ALL of these great shows this weekend and we’ll see you next week at A CHORUS LINE!
Have a great weekend!
