This Weekend: Willkommen to CABARET, plus AUDITIONS for BYE, BYE BIRDIE are up next!

Cabaret1It’s finally here. Opening weekend for Cabaret is upon us! You  know the story, you  love the songs and these fabulous photos from Jamie Foster Photography give you just a glimpse of what awaits you on the Little Theatre stage February 19-March 13.

emcee3Directed by Kevin Harris, the cast is led by Emcee Toby Tropper, Holly Halay as Sally Bowles and Mike Fiore as Cliff. Our gritty and sexy choreography is by Drew Silvaggio (of the Civic Ballet of SLO) and the music, directed by Lacey McNamara is beautifully performed. Can you believe that amazing set by Dave Linfield?! Or those Kit Kat Klub costumes from Keith Wetzel?

What is Cabaret? The Kander and Ebb musical celebrates 50 years since its Broadway debut this year. An SallyBowles2absolutely groundbreaking musical in 1966, it still pushes the boundaries of musical theatre. It challenges us to think differently. To see the world as it is, as it was, and maybe even how it could be. Cabaret is beautiful, ugly, light, dark, funny, sad, sexy, sweet, heartwarming and heartbreaking. Above all, Cabaret is immensely entertaining, and incredibly thought-provoking.

So, what good is sitting all alone in your room? Come hear the music play! Cabaret runs February 19 – March 13, Cabaret2and the next four weeks of Cabaret will be sold out before you know it, so I recommend that you get your tickets today!

2ladiesBy the way, if you want to make your Cabaret experience, truly spectacular, I highly recommend attending our very special Farewell Gala Celebration on March 11th!  Tickets are $85-$100 and include dinner-sized hors d’oeuvres, fine Central Coast wine, and a chance to mingle with the cast and artistic team over dessert. Wine, food and a fabulous show – what could be better? A few good seats are still available, but you’d better make your reservations now, before they’re all gone.
